But it was great going back home. Yes, the Philippines is still considered my home. The recent visit, though, it was not a vacation, brought back a lot of good memories of my childhood. As you very well know, the sudden demise of my Dad brought me there. A totally unplanned trip.
My Dad having devoted a good part of his life in politics, as he worked a full time job and managed a hog farm and a public transportation business, sow all the love from people from all walks of life whose lives he touched. I wrote that the trip has brought back good memories, because as many groups came to pay their respects in necrological services, a lot of anecdotes and stories about my Dad on the campaign trail, while conducting business and on his job were told. What a way to remember and celebrate his life.
Life has to continue. My hibernation since I came back has done me no good. I feel more alive going back into my daily grind. Thus, I decided to go back to blogging, and lead my normal life. It’s not an easy journey, but I have to face it and get on with my life.
