A December To Remember In Las Vegas?

Oh wow! Would that be great. Jetting off to Las Vegas in December away from the freezing New York weather would be really awesome. What’s so special about being in Las Vegas this coming December you may ask. If you are not aware, it’s the annual National Finals Rodeo commonly known as NFR and the Super Bowl of Rodeo. I haven’t been to one myself, but my husband went when he was still alone and single. Of course, he went with the “boys” so to speak during that time. Whenever he talks about that experience he always refers to it as exciting and fun. He boasts of having one of the coveted seats on the Lower Plaza in the center no less. How could he have spent that much on WNFR Tickets then! But can I blame him? He was with the gang, and everyone wanted the best seats so why should he be left out? He opines that he never felt guilty splurging, as he really enjoyed it immensely. Besides, at that time, being in the company of his friends was all that mattered.

I’m telling him though, to bring me to Las Vegas and be there this year for the National Finals Rodeo. I told him that procuring the tickets from Team One would be easy. I would want to experience it myself and be there to witness the event. It must be exciting! Would he bite into this? I hope so. But knowing him,  for the past couple of weeks I noticed that he has been making use of an impending big expense as an excuse  to say no to some of my “excesses.” Oh well, if I just go ahead and get the WFNR tickets myself, would he be able to complain? I guess not, he’ll comply (wink).
