Travel, travel… Who does not love to travel? I sure do. Seeing all the states of the United States is one of my travel goals. To date, I have already been to a decent number of states from east to west, south to north. Yet, there’s so many more left to see.
One vacation I will never forget is our get-away to Las Vegas. That was one exciting trip. With so many things to do in Las Vegas, you can let your imagination run wild and just go with the flow. The glittering Las Vegas strip is such a sight to behold at night. That week long vacation made me fall in love with the desert dry heat; in fact, if I have to make a choice, I’d prefer living there only because of the weather. Oh, and not to forget the casino! There’s so many choices, we ran out of time. I wanted to visit all the casino on the strip and play a spin or two on the slot machines but our time was limited. And, did we pig out every night! Food was constantly on our agenda, day and night. Somehow, food even taste better when you’re on vacation. Maybe, because I was not cooking. Friends and family just couldn’t believe our wild food binging story when we told them.
Our tour to the Grand Canyon was exhilarating. What, with the 4,000 ft. helicopter descent- my heart was beating so fast and somehow nervous, I swore this was gonna be my last sightseeing activity. But, my husband coaxed me into joining another one, and I tell you, nothing can be wilder than when we joined the Valley of Fire tour. Riding on the pink jeep trudging the rough roads less traveled and commune with nature’s beauty was priceless. My husband and I love to take adventurous treks, but this is the wildest we could go.
In the coming months, a visit to Chicago would be nice. I found out that the sightseeing tours they offer at Trusted Tours and Attractions are diverse, you’ll never run out of Chicago things to do while there. It would be wise to pre-book tours to ensure availability. In fact, opting to sign up with Trusted Tours and Attraction’s newsletter now, is the perfect time as they are giving away $150 iTunes gift card till May 31, 2008. All you have to do is fill out the entry form, and you’ll be included in a random drawing.
By the way, aside from Chicago, San Francisco is also on my travel list. With so many things to do in San Francisco, who would not consider going back to the lovely city by the bay.
