On The Road With Your Bike

The summer is upon us, and what does that mean? Many days spent outdoors and a lot of fun in the parks, our backyards or biking around the neighborhood. You see, there’s so many things we can do in the summer, it’s just that the summer is not that long for us to be able to enjoy longer.

Let me tell you, if you happen to love biking and you love to bring your bike with you on those summer road trips and camping, you should check out these folding bikes by DownTube. They have a wide array of folding bikes from full suspension, front suspension or no suspension bike, you name it they have it. If you were to ask me, which one I’d prefer, I think the 2008 Full Suspension 9 speed FS model would be “it” for me. Since it’s equipped with full suspension, the ride will be as comfortable as ever and it comes available in orange, which I think is a very cool color for a bike. Besides, this particular model is on sale right now.

But let me not just let you know about what’s on sale, because the prices of their folding bikes are really affordable as compared to other brands. In fact, the base models of folding bikes by DownTube are actually comparable to $800 bikes of their competitors. Since they design, test, import, distribute and retail their folding bikes direct to the buying public without middlemen, they can afford to pass along their products at 60 to 70% less than anyone else in the industry. If you check their online portal at http://downtube.com, you’ll get to see the different models of folding bikes and parts that they carry and of course, you can shop right on the spot. If you prefer to buy from one of their dealers, they also have links on the site. I know, they have one nearby where I live here in Brooklyn, so I might as well check it out in person.

I can’t stress enough the beauty of a folding bike. They are not only easy to store as they don’t occupy that much space in the garage, they are also great because should there be more than one biker in the family, you can definitely stash two folding bikes easily on the trunk of your vehicle.
