On His Way
I have been writing on my other blog about my routine ever since my husband went back to work last Monday, finishing up in the kitchen at almost 11:00 p.m. every night. Yesterday, he sprung on me that he’s going to come home early today. I took it with a grain of salt as I know how crazy it is at his workplace, and I didn’t want to be disappointed.
He just called to tell me he’s on his way home. He left the office at 3:oo p.m. and had to stop by two restaurants to take out food for dinner tonight. This is such a big change from the late nights the past few days, after his two weeks off. Now, if only it’s like this every workday, I’d be smiling ear to ear. But then again, it’s just a dream. I’d see it become a reality only if he gets out of the madness at Wall Street. Do you think he would do it? It’s a big fat no.

two restaurants for one dinner huh? I wonder what your dinner is… Anyway, it’s these small surprises and pleasant changes from our everyday routine that makes it even more special, right?
