Looking Back While On Our Spring Vacation

While we are still here on our spring vacation this year here in Puerto Rico, it makes me think and look back at some of the greatest spring vacations we’ve ever had. In 2006 we visited Southern California which included Anaheim, where we stayed in one of the Disneyland Hotels. After four days of excitement with all the fun rides in Disneyland, we headed to Los Angeles for five days. Being in LA was more fun for me, as the things to do in Los Angeles is diverse, unlike Disneyland. All you gotta have is a trusty, comfy pair of sneakers, and you’re set. It was really fun touring around via the Go LA card 5 day attraction pass. I enjoyed the Movie Stars Homes tour the most. What can I tell you, I’m nosy. I can vividly remember stretching my neck just to get a good glimpse of Elizabeth Taylor’s home on top of the hill, and Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones’s home in Beverly Hills. The Hollywood trolley tour was also great. While I enjoyed being nosy, Frank enjoyed the museums. I would have loved to stay longer as five days was not enough, especially because I loved Four Seasons in Beverly Hills where we stayed, but I was committed to going to visit a friend in Bakersfield for four days, after which we went straight to San Francisco and Napa Valley.

It would be nice if we can squeeze in a side trip to Miami in the summer. This is one place I will always love to go back to after having been there once, more so because I want to see the Miami Seaquarium, as I haven’t visited it yet. A lot of people say it is a world-class marine life entertainment park. If and whenever we go, I know I can avail of a Miami Seaquarium sightseeing tour through Trusted Tours and Attractions as they are known for their discounted and best sightseeing tours in 23 cities across America. Better yet, I should sign up for their newsletter so I won’t miss any money saving deals on tours. Plus of course, having the chance to win a handheld GPS just for signing up makes it a better deal.

It’s really nice to go on vacation and LA is a good place to see if you like to see the celebrities. We’ve been to Universal Studios in Hollywood and we had a good time there. Lots of things to see.
