Seem like it was only yesterday when we were planning for our weddings. I wrote wedding in plural form because we did get married twice and had two weddings. How is that possible? We got married here in New York, and we did it again in the Philippines. The original wedding was in June 2000, and we had another wedding in June 2005, sort of renewal of our wedding vows. We did it again, because we wanted to seal the deal back home and let my family and friends be a part of it, as many of them didn’t make it here in New York.
I wanted our wedding invitations, to set the tone of our wedding celebrations. Believe it or not, I went all out with the invites, I opted engraved invites, my friends thought I was totally out of my mind, because the 2005 invites( with all the components) were way more expensive than my wedding gown. And that does not include the save the date card that was sent out 3 months in advance both made by Crane’s.
Looking back, I should have been more resourceful, so we would have saved tons of money, and still have an equally beautiful and elegant invitation like this one:
I just love the way this wedding invitation is presented with the ribbon tied anchoring the ensemble. It’s very simple yet it spells elegance and a timeless look. If I were to have this though, I will opt to play around with the font style and the colors of the print. A classic gold lined inner envelope will enhance the look. It only makes it better that ordering from 1stClassWeddingInvitations.com is definitely fuss free.
Now, if only my husband will go for another wedding celebration for us on our 10th, won’t it be great?
