Time For A New Watch? — No Comments

  1. i think mine was a ‘fifi’ (pipitsugin) which my titos and titas usually bring home as pasalubong. i remember that it has a mickey mouse design πŸ™‚ when when i started to find really good ones, i started collecting swatch watches but now I super love my fossil watch πŸ™‚

  2. Hi,

My husband is very fond of watches & perfumes. As early as now, I’m thinking what to gift to give him on our anniversary. It’ll definitely either one of those I mentioned.

I used to have a fossil watch, I bought it for 2 thousand pesos 7 years ago.

  3. What was your first ever wrist watch? Do you still remember?

    I don’t! -_-

I think it was a digital one, Casio perhaps?

… we not only had Seiko for wrist watches as a family, we also had Seiko Wall clocks and alarm clocks. In fact, when I moved here, I brought along with me a red Seiko alarm clock.

    Seiko fanatics! O_O

Seiko Watches are known for their reliability and craftsmanship.

Also well known for their expensive price yar? :p

    The prices are competitive …

Competitive? Well, over here in Malaysia, I find them quite expensive! O_O

Sooner or later, I will have to get a new watch.

I think girls tends to like to buy watches more often. -_-

My Darling has like … erm … many watches already! Can’t remember the exact figure! I think it is around 5, more or less.

Yet, she still craves for new watches!

Argh! The hole in my pocket! It is getting bigger!

  4. @ Deimos

girls sure do love watches, but believe it or not, I no longer do. I just have a couple of Movados, one of which is 12 years old; and the other one is 2 years old. I used to have a lot and that explains why my 11 y/o piece looks brand new still. I got tired of keeping a “complicated” life already, I donated the rest to Salvation Army. I rarely go out, so I don’t need much.

Be ready to let that hole in your pocket keeps getting bigger haha.

  5. My Seiko watch is still with me. I bought it in Baguio City when I was still in Pinas. I brought it when I came here in the US and it’s still look like new because I only wear it when I go to church.

  6. I have a collection of watches, of different designs and colors, some of them expensive and some of them not so… but I rarely use them πŸ™

  7. hahaha… it sounds better than ‘chipipay’ πŸ™‚ but it’s the thought that counts. i still have some of those watches that they gave me, hidden in my memory box at home.
