I Blog Because…

Don’t we all have a reason why we blog? Or better yet, I should write, isn’t there a reason why we do the things we do? I love blogging, and I’m so glad the cyberspace is open and free for all.

Sometime in the early part of 2004, a year and a half before we celebrated our renewal of vows on our fifth wedding anniversary, I was so into the net, as it was my way of getting in touch with suppliers for the wedding. Along the way, I discovered a lot of ordinary people’s blogs, and started lurking and reading their entries. I figured, they were having a lot of fun, typing away and writing their thoughts and at the same time meeting new people that eventually became their cyber friends.

It was not till last year though, that I embarked into the world of blogging. I was tied up with the preps of the event which was held in Manila, while at the same time busy with the extensive renovation as soon as we got our new place. And then the big move! Was it so terrifying for me! The movers were there but it was the aftermath of keeping things in order that made me nuts, plus the old place had to be disposed. That said, blogging was simply not feasible. Then the succeeding years was devoted to the journey of having a baby(IVF and all, it was too much to take) which you all know by now, didn’t produce a baby *lol*.

So, July of last year was it. I love blogging. I like the idea of being able to have connections with people. The short time that I’m at it, I can say that I have made a few real friends although we haven’t seen each other yet. Blogging makes my day a busy one, no dull moments, no staring at the ceiling as I have no one to talk to at home. As you very well know, I’m a full time stay at home wife, and I do have a lot of time in my hands. I must admit that because I’m hooked to blogging, my numerous magazine subscriptions that keep coming, have been left untouched, and I’m even scared to look at the pile. I have canceled a book club membership because suddenly I have no more time.

Now, not to forget the little earnings on the side. This blog used to have a PR4 but the big G spanked me, because I went crazy with paid blogging for a good month and a half. Now, even with few opportunities, I don’t mind. My blogs are still updated, and the other two blogs anyway, are not yet into paid blogging. The husband doesn’t mind. In fact, he likes the idea that I’m keeping myself pre-occupied.

Now, why do you blog?

This is it for today…in My World.

I’m into blogging late 2004, actually its mobile blogging. I blog because I want to share my experiences on mobile ebooks and help other bloogers give solution to their ebook problem.
Anyway, I can’t explain how it feels finding friends on the net. My mobile blog friends still keep in touch until now and have our annual get together. Thats really something. -glitch

I enjoyed blogging too which is why I decided to make a blog for myself and update it regularly. I would say, this is one of my great discoveries in the internet. With my blog, I can share anything and express myself freely, not to mention the little earnings I get out of it.

I also noticed that majority of bloggers are mommies like us. I urge my friends to try blogging and I really hope they’ll enjoy it as much as we do.

i blog because i don’t have anyone to talk to when G, my husband goes to work… I feel that I have found real friends and real people through blogging even if I don’t get out of our house… it is in a way a therapy too, because TTC has a lot of pressures that go with it :)

these days, i blog more to join the paid blogging bandwagon…

I blog because this is an outlet for me to share my ideas and happenings in life. I started blogging in 2006 and I’ve been having fun since then. My day is not complete without me blogging. It became a daily routine. I love making money online and at the same time meet new friends around the world. It’s a great experience.
