I’ve been cooped up at home since Monday night last week. I finally got out of hibernation today, as I needed to go to the supermarket. What a nice change, to breathe in that fresh air once again. See? This is how I live. I don’t go out unless it is absolutely necessary. And I do this more so in the winter. Can you blame me? The layers of clothing, scarves, coat, hat, gloves and what not really makes me want to stay in every single day. I so miss the 365 days of warmth in the Philippines, where you can head out in flip flops even in the middle of January.
I can’t wait for the warmer days here in my part of the world. February is almost over and I’m starting my count down. Sunset has been noticeably later each passing day. This is one thing that brings a smile to my face every afternoon when our picture window in our living room gets the sun’s reflection at 5:15 p.m.
This is it for today…in My World.
