My Girl Mogul

What is the meaning of the word “mogul”? Well, based on Mr. Webster, a mogul is a powerful or influential person. You don’t have to be Donald Trump or Martha Stewart to be a mogul. Anyone of us have the potential and or, we are moguls in our own right.

I, however, finally found a real girl mogul. And I don’t have to look far, as she is in my inner circle, and she’s none other than my niece, Elise. You see, she used to be a ‘tomboy’ and very shy. She has however grown and she’s now every inch a lady, who is very stylish, very confident and above all very smart. She bagged a scholarship in one of the prestigious private schools in Long Island and is now on her first year of the school’s Physical Therapy program. Her previous semester’s average is 3.7. I’m so proud of her, but you can just imagine how my sister, her mother, is so overwhelmed with her daughter’s dedication and commitment to excel. This is in the midst of her volunteer work in a nearby hospital, and working three hours for two days per week.

My Girl Mogul is very dedicated to her studies while having fun and making a big difference in her community. She has a lot of big dreams and full of hope. A very independent, smart girl.
