It’s been a week of running around. I’m glad it’s finally Friday. Today, as it is the start of my free days of cooking, I was able to finally do some shredding, filing and opening of mails piled up the last few days.
What a relief! My desk is now free of ‘organized clutter’. I’m crossing my fingers I will not succumb to tossing those mail on the side and wait for it to pile up again. It’s just not easy and above all, it’s time consuming having to go through all the junk mail. I don’t want to just put them on the trash though, as I am cautious about important information especially those credit card offers. I really don’t know why we still get them though, as I have called the hotline to freeze any offers from coming. I must admit, it’s been significantly reduced the last few years since I made that call.
Now, I can breathe easy. Tax season is coming… On to putting together those important financial documents that are now trickling in.

I shred all my credit card offers. Maybe I should also call to stop such mails.
Imagine those earning a living preparing tax returns for others are going to get busier each day until April 15.
My incentive to do my taxes is to claim for my refund.
