Not having any insurance in place is like walking around naked. At least for us. That’s how my husband and I feel thus, that is how important insurances are for us. It feels good to know that with every twists and turns in our lives, we have those important insurance coverages in force. I have a whole life, a term life and he has several term life insurance policies. We also both have accidental death and dismemberment policies, home insurance, personal articles insurance(jewelries), and of course, the one kind of insurance that almost every one has, car insurance.
Car insurance is perceived to be the hardest one to get. In my opinion, this is so because, it is renewable every year and the driving record of the individual securing the policy is reviewed upon renewal. In that span of one year, driving records can drastically change. That’s why it is always a good thing to compare car insurance premiums when renewal time comes. I know for a fact that having a good driving record and credit history are very important in ensuring one obtains an affordable premium quote.
For homeowners, having home insurance in place is expected. But what about tenants? It is a known fact that whatever belongings inside a rented place, it is owned by the renter. Tenants should have renters insurance to protect their own valuables inside a rented place. It’s never easy to replace those belongings in case of theft, fire or accidental damage.
Insurance coverages should always be taken seriously. You’ll never know what tomorrow brings. Get that protection!
