Today

I woke up early today considering that I went to bed early in the morning. I think, getting a cake was a good enough motivation for me to head out.

So, I did go out after 4 days in hibernation. The bank was my first stop as I just received the notice of renewal of the safe deposit box thus, the bank will be debiting the fee for the year from our bank account. I’ve been waiting for this time, because I want to get a bigger size, and I didn’t want to pay double by terminating the contract prior to the renewal date. I would have to pay outright on the day of switching, and forfeit what’s already paid for. There are boxes available but still I couldn’t switch today. Frank has the other key and both will have to be surrendered. Next week it shall be done.

So off I went for my cake. I was running on “empty” because I didn’t eat breakfast with the intention of grabbing coffee and bagel at nearby Bagel Boy. I bought a bagel with banana cream cheese but I had to take it home. I didn’t feel comfortable eating alone. So I had my coffee and bagel in the comfort of my own kitchen.
