Kirkland Fruitcake

We bought fruitcake from Costco, a few weeks ago. They’re the pre-packaged kind with the Kirkland brand. As soon as I saw it, I wanted to get it because I got reminded of a fruitcake I’m used to getting as a present from one of my former colleagues at Procter & Gamble. It’s so delicious. It’s made by my friend’s mother, a British national. Every Christmas, I used to look forward to that fruitcake.

Now, this Kirkland fruitcake was so bad, it tasted like sugar. After my first bite, I knew my $12.99 was gonna go down the garbage bin. Believe it or not, it’s that bad, that I only took just one bite. So buyers, beware…

I don’t know too many people who actually do enjoy fruitcake, but one piece of advice, never buy canned or pre-made fruitcakes. Only go for the homemade ones. Sorry your money went down the drain on this one. :-(

I really like the Costco fruitcake, I have already eaten two of them.
