Say "thank you"

Gift giving season is almost here, and I was just thinking about how some people can be ill-mannered, they don’t even bother to send their thanks and acknowledge the giver.

I don’t know about you, but for me, when I give someone a present, and I don’t get any acknowledgement from my recipient at all, that tells me how ill-bred that person is. And when I say, acknowledgement , I mean : DIRECTLY from my recipient and not thru someone else. What if , the recipient is not contented with the present, or for some reason the present is not good enough for them, is it a valid reason enough not to say thanks and acknowledge the giver? To me, it’s still an absolute no—no.

I tell you, it’s sad that there are people like that. I found the solution to that, though. I just don’t give them any present at all. It’s easier that way.

What do you think?
