Before we know it, the Holidays are here. Right now, a lot of us may have already started shopping for holiday presents, and/or to some that are considered part of the “great procrastinators”, you might still only be starting out with your gift list.
For me, I have started my own list already. Frank has his separate list but more often than not, all he does is list down the names of the recipients and I end up responsible deciding what presents to get for them. I really want my life to be less complicated for the coming gift giving season thus, I’m thinking of getting holiday gift cards for the people on my list that are known to be picky. I have this friend that’s a devoted shopper of Bloomingdales and Neiman Marcus. She shops from these two department stores most of the time. I will just have to grab the gift cards online. I have also another friend that is a QVC junkie. She’s a stay at home mom, thus she’s always glued to QVC TV and boy, her finds are always great. A gift card from QVC will be the perfect holiday gift for her. There’s a lot of other popular gift cards which would fit most of Frank’s friends. I’ll probably just get them online from shopping.com as soon as he gives me his list if he has not come up with any holiday gift idea.
Holiday gift cards are really great alternatives to actual gifts. Nothing beats the convenience on both the giver and the receiver. The giver saves time thinking of what’s best suited for the receiver and should the receiver be not satisfied with the present, that will save him or her the time to take a trip to the store and exchange the present.
