Cold and windy

As expected, today’s weather is really very conducive to sleeping in late. We didn’t do that though. Surprisingly, we were up at 10:00 a.m. today, and add to that the fact that Frank didn’t have any difficulty getting me up and about.

While I’m writing this post, the hubby is at the gym working out. He didn’t even mind braving the wind gusting at 50 mph. He’s already been out earlier when he went to get bagels nearby so obviously he didn’t mind the cold.

Weather conditions like this just makes me want to stay home. We’re near the beach, so I can just imagine the wind gust and cold temps. I’m better off staying in and prepare for the real cold weather ahead. What do I mean by saying this? I went shopping!…shopping online that is. I shopped for winter gears. I’m so happy we are getting what we need early enough, because last year I was kind of disappointed. When I was ready to order the colors and sizes I wanted, they were no longer available. I’ll post pics as soon as I have them.

All I can say is, Frank and I will look like Eskimos walking around the streets of New York *lol*.
