One day, when I was at a Barnes & Nobles bookstore, I came across this book on the shelf.
I flipped through the pages, and I must tell you I got hooked. My instinct told me though, that I can buy it cheaper at amazon.com. As soon as I got home, I searched through amazon.com and voila, there it was ,cheaper by $6. I ordered it and in a few days, the book was delivered.
This book has changed the way I look at skin care products and cosmetics. For years, I was just hooked into branded department store brands of skin care and cosmetics. But, because of my continuous battle with periodic zits, I have tried the cheapest to the most expensive anti-acne line from the drugstores to the department stores and infomercials. Numerous visits to the dermatologist and topical solutions didn’t do any good.
Two years ago though, I finally said goodbye to zits. Paula’s Choice was the answer. This thick 1357 pages book is a guide to over 35,000 skin care and cosmetics products from high end to low end brands. Just like anybody desperate enough to find a solution, I bought the skin care line with a come what may attitude. I’ve tried a lot of brands already, what’s another brand to try.
It was the best move I’ve ever done with regards to skin care.
I’m using the complete line of Paula’s Choice. You can check it out on the web and just pick the line that’s suited to your skin type. I’d like to specify that the exfoliant (2% beta hydroxy gel, for me) really makes a big difference. I use the cleanser, toner, exfoliant, bezoyl peroxide(only on areas where there’s a pimple or prone to), sunscreen lotion for daytime/moisturizer and serum at night.
Sounds complicated, but I got used to the routine. This regimen has worked and is working for me. I’m sticking to it. Why not give it a try? And oh, I’m not getting paid to endorse this. I’m a devoted user.
This is it for today…in My World.
