Torre - Yankees part ways

Joe Torre said: “thanks but no thanks”. It’s the end of an era for the New York Yankees, with their manager of 12 years, Joe Torre, turning down a 1 year contract with options.

I live in New York, but am not really a passionate Yankee fan. My husband who is a true blue New Yorker, having been born and raised in New York, isn’t a fan neither. I’m just a mere baseball follower and I get to watch the game only because my husband is a sports afficionado.

So, what’s next and what’s in store for the Yankees? Only time will tell. The Yankees as a team seem to be great although, they have made a lot of blunders in the field. But which team doesn’t?

Let’s wait and see.
