It’s just too tempting to raid the pantry for junk food. I’m starving! I don’t know why, but I had another round of my smoked “tawilis” at about 2:00 p.m. today yet, I’m hungry again. It’s already 6:35 p.m., and I won’t have dinner til 9:00. You know, that’s the usual time for us. My tawilis [...] It’s been 4 years ago. Yes, it’s been that long since we visited the United Kingdom, but that experience is still vividly remembered. I remember that early morning when we landed at the Gatwick Airport, I was still so groggy from that 7 hours flight from New York. We didn’t have that much time though, as [...] Recel handed me down this award. I’m just so flattered, I don’t know what to say. This is the second time I’m getting this award, that’s why. I know I’m not a techie, but I do try my best and work around [...] That vacation to Aruba last September, I must say, was really very relaxing. I’m saying this, because sometimes there are other destinations we visit and for some reason, we wind up needing a vacation after that vacation. My husband and I agree that we have immensely enjoyed all of the Caribbean vacations we’ve taken [...] Call me weird, but earlier today when I felt hunger pangs at about 4:00 p.m. instead of going for any usual snack treat, I went for guess what? Rice and dried fish. Yes, that was my snack. Call it yuck but I loved it. This pack of Philippine made dried fish (frozen tawilis) has been [...] What is it about casino that people get hooked into it? Is it the excitement and the thrill of winning? Well, as far as I’m concerned, I think it’s the thrill and anticipation of winning that keeps me going whenever I go to a casino. I know of someone though, that has been a casino lover. [...] Flounder and string beans, that is. This is what we had for dinner last night. I was excited to dig in because, I didn’t cook for a little more than a week. Nothing beats the taste of home cooked meal. Was it delish? Sure it was. I haven’t had fish also for that long. I’m a [...] Three years ago, we moved to our new apartment. I still remember vividly in my memory, the mixed emotions of excitement , angst and frustration in between as the renovation was going on. We gutted the whole place that’s why, and dealing with the contractor wasn’t that easy. The whole re-do took about four months. I [...] |
