Why they named it this name, I don’t know why. All I know is that, it’s very convenient for a wanna-be-chef like me. It comes with a nifty spoon that makes getting the amount of salt I want so conveniently and clean(no spills). Above all, while the “mouth” is wide open, it allows the salt to be exposed in open air which prevent the chances of forming clumps even if I store it inside my cupboard. I discovered it at Williams-Sonoma several years ago. Now, why don’t you go and get yours?
