Mundane Tuesday

I woke up quite early (10:00 a.m.) today, considering that I wake up around 11:00 a.m. most days. I knew, today was my supermarket shopping day. I normally do it on a Monday but we woke up 12:00 noon yesterday and there was no way I was gonna go. It’s good I managed to make my grocery list last night before turning in. Today, also marked the first day of school and I didn’t want to get caught up in traffic by the time the kids are dismissed at around 3:00 p.m.

Shopping was a breeze. Checking out was fast, as I checked-out on one of the self-check out machines. You get to pack your own grocery and you handle them the way you want.

I’m just glad the day is almost over, as I get into the mode of being “alone again during the day” (taong bahay kasi) till Friday comes.
