Garden update

Upon waking up this morning, after freshening up, my next stop was our balcony. I was just too anxious to know how my plants fared overnight when the temperature dipped to the 50’s.

The sitaw’s (long beans) leaves suffered a little damage. Some of the leaves wilted and turned black. The rest of the plants seem to look okay. With the sunshine and the temperature into the low 80’s, they were fine the rest of the day. I’m just one happy gardener. Babaw ko lang talaga.

Dinner tonight will be take-out Italian food from my fave Papa Leone Restaurant in Manhattan Beach. Frank and I went to take out the food early enough, because the place tends to get busy on Saturday nights. Can’t wait to dig in.
